My husband Mike and I looked at a farm about 4 years ago and after entertaining the idea of owning a horse farm Mike handed me a newspaper article about kids who received emotional and physical benefits from grooming, feeding and riding horses.
From there the vision of owning a horse farm started to become a reality. Although the door was closed on the first farm we looked at, God opened the door for another horse farm that offers everything! Lots of paddocks and pastures for horses to graze and roam. The use of this facility is endless and it has everything needed to offer a community mission field to those who are to often overlooked.
Kids and young adults that come to the farm, who have suffered abuse and neglect themselves, will learn to love and trust again as they hear the horses stories of hope and healing.
